Let Gravity Do The Work

Use a vinyl canvas chute to drop lightweight materials, empty boxes, packaging waste, used filters, bags of insulation.

(For heavier debris we recommend using a rigid chute, not a canvas chute.)

For drops over 20 feet, a linking system built of wire rope and plastic mating collars is used,

The weight of the vinyl is then supported by the linking system. There is no suspended load on the vinyl.

Advantages of the Canvas Chute vs. the Rigid Chute:

Features of the Superchute Canvas Chute:

  • Heavyweight vinyl cloth with an embedded rip-stop polyester mesh.
  • Rot and fungus resistant.
  • U.V. resistant for long life.
  • Custom sizes available.
  • Mating collars allow chute lengths to be combined in order to achieve greater heights.

Fire Retardant:

The vinyl is inherently fire retardant, and has passed the following tests:

  • CAN.CGSB-4.2- No 27.1
  • ASTM E 84 Class A
  • FAR 25.583 (a)Vertical
  • CAN/ULC-S109 L&S
  • NFPA 701-1989 Large Scale
  • CA1237.1 small

Optional Discharge Hoop:

A plastic hoop can be sown into the hem. The hoop keeps the discharge round and fully open.

Sample Projects:

  1. Square canvas chute with zippers
  2. Square canvas chute with optional rigid discharge end
  3. Dust Containment Canvas Shroud For Nesting Chute
